Ardalanish Isle of Mull Weavers has its own farm and mill shop onsite open to visitors most of the year. You will browse our range of woven products, wool and tweed, as well as get your hands on some items we do not sell online (we have a lovely range of accessories).
We will take you on a tour of the weaving mill and explain how the weaving process works, as well as demonstrate some of it for you. Well worth a visit!
We also offer refreshments including tea, coffee and cold drinks, delicious ice creams, and home-baked pasties with some of our home-grown meat, including venison, lamb and beef. A great place to shelter in poor weather and a wonderful spot to take in the sea views when the sun is shining.
We also sell our beautiful meat from the shop, including wild venison, our own Hebridean lamb and Highland beef. These are also available on mail order. Contact us for more details.
OPENING TIMES
The shop is open:
- 10am to 5pm every day in summer
- 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday in winter
- closed over Christmas and New Year – except by special arrangement
- Summer opening hours commence after Easter weekend and winter opening hours commence in mid October.
- For visits outwith these dates/hours, please get in touch – we will be pleased to help if we are at home.
OUR MILL SHOP RANGE
We sell a number of unique items in the shop, which you won’t be able to buy online. These include woollen beanie hats and hand-knit fingerless gloves, tweed handbags and toys, as well as knitting yarn samples, pictures from local artists and some local crafts.
We also sell a range of tweed clothing items including jackets and kilts. Some of our woollen items are also only available from our farm & mill shop including our Bothy Blankets or our Fire Side Blankets, beautiful, colourful and soft. You might also fancy our Bothy Mats, colourful and incredibly hard wearing.
