Fleck n Check Wrap

Designed by our weaver David, the FlecknCheck Wrap is both a beautiful soft wrap and a piece of technically intricate setting-up and weaving.  The wrap features an irregular check design with a coloured fleck in the weft that floats between the front and the back of the cloth.  The long floats are made from a combination of the threading pattern and the sequence in which the shafts are raised.  Based on a thousand flowers threading and woven on a pure Shetland White background with Moorit stripes in the warp, the weft features either our pale grey Burach wool and stripes of Madder Red or our pure Hebridean brown wool and stripes of Woad Blue.

Brushed for a soft, cosy feel either of these wraps would complement just about any outfit … or just wrap up warm in the evenings.
