Tabby Wrap

The Tabby Wrap uses the simplest plain weave structure, where ends of thread have quite simply been woven one over, one under.  And yet, when you play with the colour combinations you can create the whole variety of designs/patterns that appear in this wrap. On a background combination of Shetland White, Oatmeal and Hebridean Black native breed colours, the wrap comes in two variations: Blue stripe (dyed with Mull-grown Woad) and Yellow stripe (dyed using several plants including Dyer`s Chamomile, Meadowsweet and Heather Flowers).

A simple, yet elegant accessory containing plenty of detail on closer inspection.
