Soft and cosy, the Reversible Blanket combines our Aran knitting yarn and our usual blanket yarn – 2 strands of the finer 12-cut to 1 strand of Aran.  Available in two different colourways, this stunning blanket is woven in a 1/3 broken twill on the finer side and backed by a 3/1 twill on the Aran side and then we have added a brushed finish to make it even softer and cosier.

A lovely throw for snuggling up on the sofa or a stunning, warm blanket for those cold winter nights.

Blue Stripe

 

Yellow Stripe

Both variations feature a warp in fine 15-cut Shetland Moorit. The Blue Stripe option has a weft in 12c silver grey on one side with Dark Hebridean Aran on the other. It has a blue border at each end on the Aran side (the blue hand-dyed here with woad). The Yellow Stripe option has a weft in 12-cut pale grey Burach along with a mid-brown Shetland Moorit Aran on the other side. The border at each end is yellow (the wool hand-dyed here using bog myrtle).
