Weft Stripe Blanket

Woven on a pure Hebridean Dark warp, the lightness in each of these Weft Stripe Blankets is provided by pale grey burach and one of our hand-dyed wools: madder pink or woad blue.  Designing stripes is never tiresome for the weaver!  You can use your own intuition or formal mathematical sequences or a blend of both.  These beautiful stripes are woven in a 3/3 twill pattern, which brushes up to a lovely cosiness.
